Terry is the first Wisconsin artist to win the Waterfowl, Pheasant and Turkey Stamp Designs in the same year (2005). He is a three time winner of the Wisconsin Waterfowl Stamp Design and has won the Pheasant Stamp Twice. Terry has placed second twice in the Federal Duck Stamp Design--1999 with Black Scoter and 2002 with Wood Ducks. Terry, a nationally known wildlife artist, has received more than thirty awards attesting to the quality of his work. Terry, a self-taught artist who entered the wildlife art field 16 years ago after a hiatus from art for 18 years, finds his work an endless inspiration.Every once in a while, you put out a really spectacular piece where everything comes together.
